great! 1 Gb is perfect for my 1 hour walk; so easy to handle while walking. Easy to download your CDs using Itunes. Its the best companion for walkers & runners. you clip it anywhere.

This iPod works great. Perfect for running, just clip and go. Loading songs is kind of a hassle if you have more than one computer that you want to get songs from.

At age 46 I’m thoroughly enjoying my first excursion into 21st century audio technology. I’m amazed how easy it was to load music onto the Shuffle from CDs and iTunes. Have used it on walks, at the gym, in the car, doing errands…even lying in bed fighting a bout of insomnia.

- Quality of the volume control mechanism needs to be improved. The not insignificant annoyance factor here costs the Shuffle a 5th star.

Don’t buy this unless you want to throw it away after the battery is dead. It cost as much to replace the battery as it does for the player. The battery is hard wired in an enclosed MP3 player.

Oh Pink iPod Shuffle, let me count the ways I love thee:
1) You don’t break down as often as your predecessor, the gumstick Shuffle.
2) You weigh very little.
3) Your clip is very strong and works for securing onto a cap.
4) The buds are an improvement versus the previous iPods.
5) The little USB thingy to recharge and sync is extremely cool.
OK, now seriously, this Shuffle is recommendable for those that really want to take their iPod outside and forget that they are wearing an MP3 player. Its form factor is convenient and the buttons take little time to master. Its premium over other players with similar capacity is well worth it.
