How can i fix my ipod 80GB ipod Classic that shows the ipod has full memory but has no files whatsoever?
80GB ipod classic shows that all the memory if used up but when i look in the music/pictures/videos, there are no files whatsoever. what is the problem and how can I fix this?
Answer
Plug your iPod into your computer and open up iTunes. From there, go to the page where you would sync your iPod from. Press “restore” and follow the instructions. After, just re-sync it and it should be all set!
The restore feature restores your iPod to factory settings, and deleting everything off it. iTunes does automatic backups of the data on your iPod every time you sync. So basically this process will delete all the unwanted data, then you re-sync which puts everything back on. It’s like cleaning up a desk!
