I purchased this for my 80GB Classic and love it. It is a stylish way to keep my Ipod scratch free. I highly recommend.

this ipod case has effective protection stylish look and feels good. it is not the highest quality case you can get but you dont want to worry about your case and your ipod, it kind of defeats the need for a case. the outer plastic screen cover is not as good as some but it protects without mutch trouble. overall it is a great case.

Good Looking Protection – Poor Fit
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This case is beautifully designed. It also comes in Cameo pink and Chocolate brown. It DOES NOT have any type of belt clip or lanyard attachment. (I would have appreciated a lanyard clip for safer transport.) However it DOES offer a slim profile for carrying in a purse or pocket which is what I was looking for. The only complaint I have is the fit.

Belkin claims that it is compatible with the iPod Classic. However I have the iPod Video 60GB which is virtually the same depth as the iPod Classic 160GB, but maybe up to 1mm narrower (negligible) across the front. This case fits well and can be removed without effort by pushing up on the bottom of the iPod that is exposed to accomodate the charger/sync connector. However the plastic that covers the screen buckles and does not fit snugly against the iPod. Others have commented on this issue in their reviews also, even someone with a 160GB Classic. And if you have the 80GB Classic, the fit will be worse than with either the 60GB Video or the 160GB Classic version because it is quite a bit thinner than both of these.

Someone mentioned cutting off the plastic piece and using a screen protector, directly on the iPod, in its place. Because I already have the case I purchased a pack of Fellows protectors (5 for $5) for that purpose. The reason the bulging plastic is so annoying is because it creates a glare and also looks very tacky on an otherwise beautiful product.

You may want to consider whether or not is is worth it to you to spend almost $20 on a case and then modify it with another product that costs about $5. However if the bulging plastic screen cover will not bother you then you should be more than satisfied with this iPod case.

Not Leather!!!
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Made out of plastic – not leather, despite the advertisement says. The Case is loose – your iPod will slide side-to-side. Great product, if you want to pay alot for a cheap quality case that does not even have a snug fit with the iPod.

Great protection at a great value

I just picked up the Belkin leather sleeve for my iPod classic – was tired of all the smudges on the screen and the greasy paw prints on the body which would have given a CSI a run for their money. This is the perfect answer – a leather case to protect the body from scratches and smudges (with all the oepnings to allow for charging and headphones), and a plastic face to cover the screen for additional protection.

I was lucky enough to come across this at a dollar store, so I saved on the shipping. It was the best dollar I’ve spent all year. It is durable and attractive and holds up to the wear from bouncing around in my backpack.
